Event description
An Official Dramah Queen Experience w/ teacher Katherine Iheke. Designed to build confidence while discovering our passion.

About this Event

Confidence and Choreo was created to enjoy the culture of dance while building confidence within ourselves.

This workshop will include guest teacher Katherine Iheke born and raised here in Dallas. She has been dancing for 10 years and teaching for 7. The growing desire to learn more about the dance culture led her to Plano, TX. She began training in her expertise style of hip hop with Fenton Fulgham and soon multiple teachers around the DFW area. Katherine was a part of Renegades Dance Company from 2013-2017 and was team director in 2016 & 2017. In 2017, Katherine was casted in the Monsters of Hip-Hop Show “Unleashed” in Los Angeles. Her attendance to many local workshops and Monsters of Hip-Hop dance conventions has given her and still gives her opportunities to learn from, train under, and work with top industry choreographers. Katherine is currently on staff touring with Dance Revolution dance convention for her second-year and is the creative director of their hip-hop sector dance team, Rev Crew. Whilst touring throughout the year and managing Rev Crew, Katherine teaches privates, hip hop classes, and intensives around the DFW area and other states. She loves to challenge and excite people with the diversity of her choreography and has a main focus of helping others discover how to live and dance with passion & purpose.

Dramah Queen is now a local here in Dallas, born and raised in San Diego she has quickly accomplished many things in her short three years out here. She is now Team Captain of Camille Thompson's MOM CREW and a hip hop instructor at Denton Dance Conservatory. She has performed on So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance Stages in Dallas and LA, New Kids on the Block, and her former credentials include Professional cheerleader and head instructor with Universal Cheerleaders Association, directing RockSteady Dance in San Diego, Culture Shock SD Instructor, performing with Lecrae, Tedashii, and on Soul Train.

It is our hope that not only will you learn Choreo to help you grow as a dancer, but also Confidence to grow as a person as we dig deep into who we are and discover more about our passions, purpose, and identity.
