Conference Objectives!

The biggest handicap in research is an ability to think outside the box. The handicap is being encumbered by all the conventional wisdom in a given field. -Aubrey de Grey

Research! A tool for knowledge-building!

Global spending on R&D has reached a record high of almost US$ 1.7 trillion. About 10 countries account for 80% of spending. As part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), countries have pledged to substantially increase public and private R&D spending as well as the number of researchers by 2030. –Source: UNESCO Research Reports.

Research is an important tool for knowledge-building. It puts a nation on growth path and makes sure that people live in a welfare state enjoying high standards of living. Research is not only important for students, but for academics as well. An idea becomes knowledge only it is properly validated with sufficient proofs and evidences. Many countries have started realizing the importance of undertaking high-quality research in science, engineering and technology.

Research Puts a Nation on Growth Trajectory!

Research in economics is quite essential for a variety of reasons. Government and institutions should find out the key areas where economic and social issues have to be resolved, where investments have to be channelized and ensure smoother progress and overall development of a country. Research in imports, exports, inflation, gross domestic product, per capita income, technology, forex, capital markets and other related areas will put the economic on a competitive landscape and address the problems of the masses. Since economics and sociology are closely related, it is imperative for every nation to earmark considerable portion of funds in the form of budgetary allocations. Further, in order to undertake more sound economic policies for stability, non-inflationary growth, risk-management, uplifting the economically backward sections of the society to higher income brackets and ensure peace and order in the society, research on economic parameters are absolutely necessary.

Assuring higher standard of living for people will be possible only by undertaking socially and economically relevant research works in coordination with industry, educational institutions and various arms of the government and the banking sector.

Given the above background, the upcoming conference in Singapore aims at achieving the following objectives:

To promote active and high-quality research in global business, economics, finance, marketing, management sciences and other related topics in social science research;

To encourage regional and international delegates to share their outstanding contributions and research works/findings/experiences with other delegates from different parts of the world;

To inculcate the habit of undertaking inter-disciplinary research towards the advancement of the theory and practice of all disciplines related to all the above fields mentioned, above.

To offer a platform in order to bring together scientists, researchers, scholars, economists and all the parties involved in social science research to identify topics of common interest and disseminate their knowledge at the international landscape.

You are cordially invited to our upcoming conference in the beautiful city of Singapore.
