Code of conduct: https://www.camlis.org/code-of-conduct

COVID-19: https://www.camlis.org/covid19

While attending CAMLIS, consistent with CDC guidelines, attendees are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, “social distancing” and wear face coverings to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CAMLIS has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, CAMLIS cannot guarantee that its participants, speakers, volunteers, or other attendees will not become infected with COVID-19.

In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, CAMLIS will follow CDC guidelines as well as local guidelines (Arlington County, Virginia) currently recommended at the time of the conference, October 20-21,2022. While this may not explicitly include required vaccination, in order to further safeguard yourself, other attendees, and volunteers in our small venue, upon registration, you will be asked to self-attest that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Additionally, individuals who fall within any of the following categories should not attend CAMLIS:

1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others;

2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or

3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

Free streaming will be provided for those who (1) are unable to self-attest to having been vaccinated, or (2) fall within any of the above categories. Full refunds will be provided upon written request to those unable to satisfy these requirements.
