Lowelifes trail work on the lower portion of Condor Peak Trail on Sunday, December 6th.

About this Event

Lowelifes will continue work on the lower portion of Condor Peak Trail on Sunday, December 6th. This work day will be held with smaller crew sizes and in a Covid-responsible manner.

Driving Directions & Parking

IMPORTANT! READ THIS

  • All volunteers must pass the USFS-mandated Covid self-assessment and follow proper social distancing protocols, including face coverings.
  • Bring enough food, snacks and water to keep you happy all day. Lowelifes is not providing lunch, in light of Covid safety.
  • Proper protective gear: Please bring work gloves, long sleeves, long pants, heavy boots and eye protections. All are required. Hard hats can be provided, but we encourage serious volunteers to consider purchasing their own.
  • Sunscreen, lip balm, bandannas, rain shell are recommended as you will be working in exposed areas.
  • Backpack for your lunch, snacks, water, etc.
  • Watch our Instagram for event and weather updates.

Work Plan

We will be continuing work on Condor Pk Trail from the bottom starting at the trailhead on Big Tujunga Rd.

About Condor Peak

Lowelifes will be rehabilitating the historic Condor Peak trail that was damaged in the Station Fire. This will be a long term project, at the end of which an additional 10 miles of singletrack will be re-opened to bikes and other users.
