Concern America's 2022 Walk Out of Poverty
Event Information
About this event
This year, Concern America is celebrating its 25th Annual Walk Out of Poverty! Join us for a five-mile walk at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, CA, or connect virtually and walk from wherever you are! Funds raised bring trained health care practitioners, education, and clean water systems to impoverished communities in Latin America.
1. Register! For those walking with us on April 9: Registration is $10. Children 3 and under walk for free, but must still register! 2022 Walk T-shirts are no longer available, however we will have shirts form past walks available at the event.
For those walking from wherever they are: Registration is free! Tell us where you plan to walk!
2. Set a Goal: Any amount counts! $100 provides a person with clean water for 25 years; $1,000 enables full medical training for a village health care provider.
3. Fundraise: Invite your family members, coworkers, schoolmates, and more to support by giving through your online page or by checks and cash. We encourage you to raise at least $100.
4. Walk! For those of you joining us in person on April 9, arrive at 7am at Holy Spirit Church in Fountain Valley. Check in, grab a granola bar, and pick up your t-shirt! We begin the five-mile walk at 7:30 am.
For those connecting virtually, share photos/videos of you walking and tune in on April 9 to see our global community walking!
