Complimentary Student Membership Program

Apply before December 31, 2014 to qualify for and receive a complimentary annual Student Membership with National BDPA's Washington, D.C. Chapter (BDPA-DC.) These sponsored memberships are good for one (1) calendar year and provide full membership benefits from both National BDPA (NBDPA) and your host chapter, BDPA-DC.

Upon acceptance and notification, students initially will be requested to provide the following information to open and establish an active BDPA  Membership profile online via NBDPA.

  • First Name, Middle Initial, and Last Name
  • Preferred email address (* Community College or University emails may only be valid for a semester. Use a permanent email for internship, Co-Op, and scholarship announcements.)
  • Preferred mobile or local telephone number
  • Physical USPS mailing address to receive career magazines, BDPA newsletters, or post card career-invitational announcements

BDPA's mission is to bridge cyber security,  information technology (IT) and telecommunications competency gaps with Industry, Academia, under-represented, and underserved communities. Local BDPA Chapter goals across the National Capital Region (NCR) are set forth to provide technology and infocentric training programs with educational outreach programs for professionals, young adults, and youth in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in direct support of economic development, technology inclusion, and workforce development initiatives.
