Event description

Description

We are proud to offer a two-day workshop with Columbia University’s Dr. Katherine Shear, founder of The Center for Complicated Grief. The workshop will take place Friday - Saturday, November 17 - 18, from 9am - 5pm.

Complicated grief is a debilitating and often misdiagnosed, and misunderstood condition. This in-depth training will focus on her 16-step approach to treating complicated grief.

This workshop is aimed at professionals (MSWs, MFTs, RNs and Chaplains) working with those who are grieving, and who have a basic understanding of the differences between complicated grief, PTSD, and MDD.

13 CEUs are available; cost is included in the workshop charge. Bring your own lunch; parking is free. For questions or more information, please call Susan at 650.532.2396.
