Angela Simmons, CCSA, CHPC, BS, CentraVance Consulting, Inc.
With more than 25 years of education and compliance experience, Angela is passionate about compliance, and most especially HIPAA and Information Security. Angela is a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHPC) and a Certified Cyber Security Architect (CCSA). Angela has earned her FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) Certificate, and Cybersecurity in Government Contracting Certificate through Federal Publications Seminars (FPS) and is an annual attendee of the FPS Government Contracting Institutes/Programs. Angela’s educational, consulting and teaching experience have established her as a professional in the world of regulatory compliance. Her education, experience in working in coordination with professional IT groups over the last decade, and her public speaking skills in both the educational and client based settings provides her the insight and ability to detect compliance and information security issues that can be both professionally and monetarily detrimental to our client organizations. As part of ongoing education, Angela attends several courses and summits each year to ensure that she stays on top of compliance issues as they are happening.
