Event Details

What are you dreaming about?

We invite you to gift yourself at the start of the new year with a weekend for your spirit to be saturated in peace, your dreams marinated in light. Through spiritual practices like singing, meditation, listening, dangerous prayer, and optional yoga we will touch the miraculous. And our faith and our intentions will be celebrated and supported by our Middle sisters and brothers.

This year’s theme is “Complete the Dream,” and we will ask ourselves: What does it mean to live out God’s dream for our lives and for our world?

Middle member Mark Dendy said, “This retreat sets your spiritual course for the year. It offers many tools to make us vessels for God’s grace and blessings. It makes us expectant of miracles and bonds us closer to each other as a community.”

Our 9th annual spiritual retreat will be led by Lynn Min and Christina Fleming. Allison Mickelson will lead music. The registration fee includes round-trip bus transport from Middle Church to Stony Point Center in Rockland County, New York, lodging for two nights, and meals on Saturday and Sunday made from scratch in the Stony Point Kitchens. Rooms are double occupancy, with two twin beds in most rooms. On Friday, participants will gather at Middle Church (50 E. 7th Street) at 6 pm and the bus will leave promptly at 6:30 pm. We will return to Middle Church on Sunday, January 8 at 4:00 pm.

Registration is $275. You also have the opportunity to sponsor others to attend through full scholarships and donations. See the schedule below:
