Compassionate Pasadena Exploration Day
Overview
Compassionate Pasadena Exploration Day Fact Sheet
Compassionate Arts in Action alongside other organizations are exploring the vision that Fe Love (Felicia Lenee Williams) held in her life. She started and began forming a "Compassionate Pasadena Initiative" in 2016 and intended to obtain the "Compassionate Pasadena" designation with the City's adoption of a Resolution prior to her untimely death in 2021.
Did You Know?
A Compassionate City is an official "Compassionate Community" designation by the Charter for Compassion (Int'l.) and Compassionate California. Four years ago, California legislators passed an historic declaration becoming the first "Compassionate" State in the U.S., effective September 10, 2021. Now, there are currently 20 communities in California that have passed formal Resolutions -- 15 cities, 4 counties, and of course, the State of California.
Please join us for a fun event on Saturday, November 8th at Pasadena New Thought Center to celebrate and renew the Pasadena project at the Compassionate Pasadena Exploration Day. This new initiative is based on the vision of Fe Love for the Greater Pasadena Area. Your presence would mean so much the the Community, as we honor Fe Love.
