Description

This 4-week is a workshop series exploring compassionate living, eating, and nutrition for a healthy body and healthy planet through plant-based nutrition. From the perspectives of Buddhism, nutritional psychology, science and philosophy. Each week includes a meditation and a talk on a different aspect of practicing compassionate eating in everyday life. Each week includes a short vegan cooking demonstration and shared meal with take home recipes.

May 4, 2019-Why choose a plant-based diet? Incorporating nuts, nuts and more nuts in your daily life.

May 11, 2019 Cultivating compassion for your body and the planet. Cooking with beans and legumes on a limited time and on a dime.

May 18, 2019 Understanding nutrition and balancing your diet needs through plant-based food. Cooking demonstration on superfoods made delicious.

May 25, 2019 Ethical decision making-Where does your food come from? Sugar-free and low carb baking made easy.
