You’re invited to a spectacular evening of specialty wines, runway fashion, a silent auction and more to support disadvantaged children — Compassion Through Fashion — supported by Ambassador of France to Bolivia, Michael Pinard.

Internationally acclaimed designer Jean-François Garcia will showcase his latest collection from Raza de Bronce, a clothing and accessories line that blends its strong Bolivian identity with European design. Bolivian designer Kathyuska Carrasco will also be showcasing her collection of elegant, stunning and sophisticated handbags. Our Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening will be hors d'oeuvres (open cash bar). The Mistress of Ceremonies will be Jan Du Plain, President and CEO of Du Plain Global Enterprises, Inc., with Master of Ceremonies
Chris Guerra, the Founding Conductor and Artistic Director of the Strathmore Children’s Chorus.

Proceeds will benefit Arco Iris America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We believe every child has a right to feel loved. Arco Iris America is the North American counterpart to Bolivia’s Fundación Arco Iris (Rainbow Foundation), whose social programs serve nearly 30,000 homeless and other impoverished children. During the evening, we will honor Father José Maria Neuenhofer, who in 1994 founded Fundación Arco Iris.

Doors open at 6:00pm to a cocktail party with a complimentary glass of wine and hor' d'oeuvres (followed by a cash bar). Program activities begin at 7:00pm.

Do I have to bring my email receipt to the event?
If you purchase your tickets through Eventbrite, you will need to print out your Eventbrite PDF ticket(s), which will be sent to you from Eventbrite -- NOT the email receipt, but the actual PDF ticket(s). If you purchase your tickets offline, you will be given or sent a paper ticket, which you must bring with you to the event for admittance.

No. Due to security at the venue, the name on the ticket must match the attendee.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No. This event is open to all ages. Please bring your ID to consume adult beverages. 

What should I know about parking?
Street parking around the Embassy is free on Saturdays. There is also a paid parking garage at Georgetown MedStar Health - Entrance 1 - at 3800 Reservoir Road NW ($20 maximum).

Arco Iris America, previously "The Rainbow of Hope for Bolivia’s Street Children”, provides independent and impartial assistance through financial donations to charity organizations focused on the needs of impoverished children. It is the North American counterpart to Bolivia’s Fundación Arco Iris (FAI) -- a nonprofit founded in 1994 by Father José Maria Neuenhofer -- whose social programs serve about 30,000 homeless children in La Paz, Bolivia.

Arco Iris America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2007 in the United States of America. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law.
