Kara Juszczak, LCSW, co-owner of Tree of Hope Counseling and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) will facilitate this session.

Compassion Fatigue = secondary traumatic stress + institutional trauma. Professionals that engage in work with trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss, and other populations that suffer are at high risk for compassion fatigue. In this training, participants will explore this definition, self-assess risk for compassion fatigue, practice personal interventions for coping with stress, and develop a plan for resiliency.

Tree of Hope Counseling, LCSW, PLLC, SE CPE, is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0322.

This course is 3 (three) contact hours.

Fee for course is $60.00

Registration and Payment due by Wednesday 3/8/17 for March 10 date and 5/3/17 for May 5 date.

Refund Policy - partial refund of $40 provided up to 7 days prior to event, no refunds provided within 7 days of event.
