Description
We will meet in the First Aid room. Students should come prepared to spend time outside in the snow. (Snow pants & coat, warm boots, hat, and gloves.)
We will spend a significant amount of time outside. Folks could also bring a snack; 4 hours of class tends to make people hungry!
This workshop will teach you the skills to effectively operate a rescue beacon, efficiently probe the snow to determine the victim's location and strategically move snow with your shovel to uncover your companion.
