Description

Join us for the third annual CoMo Wellness Conference

Featuring Sara Gottfried, M.D

Author of the New York Times bestselling books: Younger, The Hormone Cure, and The Hormone Reset Diet.

The 2019 conference will feature three, 70-minute presentations by Dr. Gottfried as well as two, 60-minute breakout sessions. The breakout sessions will cover various topics about an integrative approach to wellness.

Dr. Gottfried will speak on the following topics:

Younger

While many of us feel destined for cellulite, saddle bags, and belly fat, or worry about the long line of Alzheimer's, cancer, and heart disease in our families, the scientific reality is that 90 percent of the signs of aging and heart disease are caused by lifestyle choices, not genes. There are five key factors that lead to accelerated aging: muscle, brain, hormone, gut and toxic fat. Dr. Gottfried's seven-week Younger Protocol addresses these factors with an accessible, practical plan to increase our life spans and the way we age, and remain healthy and energetic for all our days.

The Hormone Cure

All too often women are told that feeling moody, asexual, tapped out, dried up, stressed out and sleep deprived is just a part of being female. Or they are led to believe that the answer can be found in a bottle of prescription pills. Dr. Gottfried refuses to accept this as the new normal. She has a unique hormone balancing plan that she has used to help thousands reclaim wellness, verve and optimal health. Dr. Gottfried combines natural therapies with rigorous scientific testing and identifies the common causes of hormonal distress. Dr. Gottfried will transform your life.

Brain Body Diet

A revolutionary 40-day program to reconnect the brain and body to prevent and reverse the myriad of symptoms and diseases afflicting millions of women. Your health problems are in your head—caused by a malfunction in the connection between your brain and your body. Brain health is a powerful indicator of overall health and well-being. While our thoughts can affect our physical health, what we do to our body also has a lasting impact on our brains. When you ignore your brain-body symptoms, you raise your risk of serious cognitive decline, which leads to chronic health problems. It’s a vicious cycle, but it can be broken.

Breakout Session Topics Include:

What to Eat with Lila Thullen, RN

“What do you eat?” It’s the number one question people ask the director of CoMo Wellness Conference! Co-founder Lila Thullen, RN, will answer that question by providing attendees with the nuts and bolts of providing nourishing food to support your mind and body. Lila is a busy working mom with three young children. She’ll tell you what she feeds her family, explain why she makes the food choices she does, and give you lots of recipes and ideas, including tips on how to get your kids to eat their veggies! You’ll leave this breakout session armed with simple, practical advice to implement right away.

EFT: The Unexpected Pathway to Peace with Kelly Howe, RN

Join Kelly for a breakout session discussing a cutting edge healing technique known as EFT or emotional freedom technique. Kelly is a transformational coach who specializes in this out of the box but highly effective tool for releasing emotional wounding and rewiring the nervous system to quickly dial down the stress response. Emotional Freedom Techniuqe(also called "tapping") is a powerful emotional, somatic and neuro-regulatory technique that combines both modern psychology and ancient Chinese medicine. While utilizing the same acupoints used in traditional acupuncture, clients "tap" lightly on acupoints while being led to focus on an emotional issue while connecting with the physical sensation. Known as the "try it on anything" technique EFT has been highly effective with anxiety, stress, chronic pain, phobias, sports performance, addiction, cravings/weight loss and anything where fear is holding a person back from living a full and vibrant life. Best of all, tapping can effectively be used as a self-help technique for any of the above issues. Kelly will present the science and current research that is quickly driving this powerful technique into the spotlight and gaining recognition as both an effective self-help tool as well as an undeniable force for healing emotional wounding of all types. Learn how to quickly use EFT to manage everyday stress, experience a group demonstration and find out what makes this technique stand out as a game changer.
