Event description

Description

As the season changes, recharge your batteries and join in this gentle community yoga class. For 50 minutes, focus on your breath and movement, and hear ideas about how to incorporate yoga into your daily life. Open to all levels. Bring your own mat, if you have one! Hope to see you there.

Each session will focus on using yoga postures and breathing exercises to maximize the benefits of yoga. Class is led by Sonya, a registered Yoga Alliance teacher (RYT200).

I'm new to yoga. What are the benefits?

Yoga improves immunity, prevents degenerative diseases, increases energy and flexibility, can be practiced anywhere, is as spiritual, religious or non-denominational as you want to be, and can be done by anybody. Yoga is a non-competitive activity and encourages us to do what we can for our own good.
