Learn how to apply for PCEF funding, make your program inclusive, and get involved in climate action!

About this event

The premise of this workshop is to connect Pan African Communities to the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund. PCEF invests millions each year in communities on the frontlines of climate change; Creating green jobs, funding improvements to homes through renewable energy and energy efficiency investments, and supporting local businesses.

Please join us on August 20, 2022, to learn more about applying for PCEF funding, making your program inclusive for people with disabilities, and how to get involved in climate action within the Portland Metro Area. If you have previously applied and were not approved, this will be an excellent opportunity to improve your application for the next round!

This is a free event and registration is required. Please limit registration to no more than three representatives per organization. Attendees will receive $50 gift cards for participation. Raffle prizes will be distributed as well!

Don't miss out on an amazing opportunity to network with African organizations, get involved in climate action, be inclusive, and learn how to apply for PCEF!

To help protect our community, we encourage you to stay home if you’re sick. At the event, we encourage attendees to wear a mask when not eating or drinking indoors regardless of vaccination status. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available at the event as well as a to-go box option for food if you’d like to eat outside of the meeting location.

Only non-profits can apply for PCEF funding. Please let us know if you need any accommodations at least one week prior to the event.
