?What should I bring with me?

Please bring a yoga mat, a cushion or wrap if you’d like extra comfort, and a bottle of water. If you prefer to sit in a chair instead of lying on the floor, just let us know when you arrive — we’re happy to accommodate you.

?What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes you can move and relax in. Layers are a good idea, as your body temperature may drop during the sound bath.

? Do I need any experience?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. This event is open to everyone — no experience with yoga, meditation, or sound baths is needed. Everything is fully guided and can be adapted to your needs.

? Is this event suitable for all abilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The movement practice is gentle and accessible, and we can offer a chair if getting down to the floor is difficult. Please let us know when you arrive if you’d like any adjustments.

?Is the event really free?

The event is free to book, but we invite you to make a donation on the day if you’re able. Suggested sliding scale is £5–15 — see our Sliding Scale section for guidance.

?What if I can’t afford to donate?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome no matter what — your presence is what matters most to us. If the minimum suggested donation feels out of reach, please come anyway.

? Is it okay to arrive late?

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you have time to settle in. If you are delayed, we may ask you to wait quietly until a natural pause in the session.

Yes — free on-street parking is available just behind the building.

Yes — this event is open to ages 14 and up. If attending with a parent/guardian, please let us know when booking.

?Will there be food? I have allergies or dietary needs — what should I do?

We’ll be offering herbal teas and light snacks after the session. If you have any food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences (e.g., vegan or gluten-free), please let us know in advance when booking or when you arrive so we can accommodate you as best we can.

?Will photos or videos be taken during the event?

We respect your privacy and want you to feel fully relaxed. We won’t take any photos or videos during the session itself. If we’d like to take a photo of the space (without faces) at the end, we’ll always ask for your consent first.

?Can I take my own photos?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones on silent and avoid taking photos during the session to help maintain a calm, focused atmosphere. You’re welcome to take a photo of the space before or after if you’d like to remember your experience.

? Sliding Scale — What is it?

We use a sliding scale to keep the event accessible. Suggested donations: £5 (supported), £10 (sustaining), £15 (supporting others). Pay what feels right for you on the day, cash or card. Your presence matters most — all are welcome!
