About this event
Join The Board of Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago on Sunday, December 13th for a community-wide Chanukah celebration that is fun for the whole family!
We will host a drive-in movie, light the candles (from our cars in a very unique and fun way) and enjoy the holidays as a community!
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase. BRING CASH!
- Win some amazing prizes in our raffle!
We are collecting canned good items for the Ark. Please bring any canned good items you wish to donate.
Please note
- Parking Lot opens at 3:45 pm and will close before the movie starts at 4:30pm. If you are not parked by then, your ticket is null & void. No in and out privileges. Safety of our guests and staff is our #1 concern.
- We have a limited number of Outside Seats available. Park offsite and walk over. Fees are $20 per person and must be purchased ahead of time. No walk-ins allowed
- Parking spots are spaced with plenty of room to sit outside of vehicles so feel free to bring chairs and blankets to sit on as you enjoy the movie on the big screen-weather permitting of course ( OK Bears fans... you are used to this)
- Masks are required if you leave your car for Vendors or Restrooms. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- NO REFUNDS unless Loft 21 has to cancel.
- In the case of a blizzard, subzero temps or any unforeseen acts of G-d, we will move the date accordingly.
- Each ticket permits one vehicle.
- You must bring your paper ticket or have your cell phone with QR Code ready to be scanned.
- All vehicles will be spaced 6 feet apart and on a first come, first serve basis.
- Large or tall vehicles will be guided to park on the sides or back of the lot at the discretion of the parking lot staff. Attendants will direct taller vehicles and those with open hatches to parking spaces that will not obscure the view of other guests.
- Audio is broadcast using your FM Radio.
- Guests may run your engine or run idle as needed based on weather. No headlights!
- You must remove any trash you have as public waste receptacles are limited.
- NO PETS ALLOWED (unless certified service animal)!
- NO SMOKING! NO ALCOHOL!
- Loft 21 or BJE are not responsible for motor vehicle accidents or damage to vehicles and personal property. Loft 21 or BJE are not responsible for stolen items including money or personal property. Loft 21 or BJE are not responsible for medical injuries and accidents.
Proceeds will go towards the Board of Jewish Education, whose mission is to nurture the continuity and quality of Jewish life through Jewish education, and to be a leader in implementing the vision of Jewish education.
