About this event
Welcome and thank you for joining us. This mandatory bidders conference will be held to ensure that all organizations iterested in applying for funding will have the same information in order to apply. The funds that will be released are $3.5 Million of ARPA funding for increased services in the UC.
The types of services that will be eligible may inlcude, but are not limited to:
- Housing and Legal Services
- Capacity Building and Technical Assistance
- Public Benefit Navigation
- Youth Services
- Mental Health Services
- Childcare Services
- Food Access
Capacity Building Set Aside: We will set aside funding for Capacity and Techical Assistance for two different programs:
- $400,000 for Capacity Building and Technical Assistance for small organizations in the Unincorporated County.
- From another source, we will add $500,000 of local funding for developing Capacity in Community Based and Faith Based organizations interested in developing affordble housing.
Housing and Legal Services Set Aside: We will set aside aproximately $1 million to expand legal services into the unincorporated county.
Public Benefit Navigation Set Aside: We will set aside aproximately $600,000 for local organizations to expand or add public benefit navigation services to their existing work to benefit unincororated residents.
All other Services: Aproximately $1.5 million will be available for other servies in the Unincorproated County
An equitable community is where all residents have equal or equivalent access to goods, services, status, rights, power, and amenities.
Goals: Increase access to services supporting basic needs in the unincorporated countyIncrease equitable outcomes for people of color and extremely low-income people Improve support systems for the unincorporated county residents
