Ravi Patel is almost 30 and still single, and his tradition-minded Hindu family is not happy. After he breaks up with his white girlfriend, he enters the semi-arranged marriage system in America. Meet the Patels explores the influences of culture and identity on the most intense, personal, and important part of one's life — love.

Geeta is known for her emotional, form-pushing, and nontraditional style that merges documentary and dramatic forms. She is writer/director of the upcoming feature film MOUSE. She made her directorial debut with the documentary war thriller, PROJECT KASHMIR, which led to directing fellowships at Sundance and Tribeca. Geeta was recently Visiting Artist in Belarus and Turkey as one of 29 filmmakers chosen for President Obama’s film delegation. She graduated from Duke in Comparative Area Studies.
As an actor, Ravi is most recognized for his work on SCRUBS, IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, TRANSFORMERS, POWDER BLUE, THE NEW NORMAL, and is currently co-starring the Fox Series GRANDFATHERED . Ravi also serves as Co-CEO of THIS BAR SAVES LIVES,.TBSL gives a life-saving meal packet to a child in need for every fruit and nut bar they sell. Ravi also co-manages an investment group which focuses primarily on health, wellness, and social enterprises.
Jasbina is an Indian-American Attorney-turned- Matchmaker. She adds a unique contribution to the Matchmaking industry – she has pioneered an approach to matchmaking, which blends the best of The East and West. She is the Founder & President of , the only & Firm for Indian Singles in the US, Canada & the UK. A finalist in OPRAH'S search for a TV Host, she's also been featured in the New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post & Entrepreneur Magazine. She has also moderated/participated on panels at Harvard Business School, Wharton, Northwestern & Columbia.
Jasbina previously practiced law in San Francisco and Chicago. She earned her B.A/M.A. in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University, and JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
