Description

Join Newtown Creek Alliance and a number of our academic and community partners for an afternoon symposium featuring presentations on various Newtown Creek based research and monitoring projects. As large-scale cleanup efforts progress on Newtown Creek, a diverse ecology of plants, insects, birds and marine wildlife are slowly returning to this once vibrant waterway. The afternoon will include a series of presentations, with Q&A and discussions amongst speakers and attendees. Food and drinks provided for attendees, please RSVP here.
