Community ReadAround: (a) river rising Anthology [Virtual]
Event Information
About this event
Join us for a community readaround from our latest anthology, featuring our founder, Mary Pierce Brosmer, and many other women artists and writers celebrated in this beautiful book.
Vol. III, Roots and Branches, lifts up the dual themes of "roots" and "branches," and therefore includes the voices of the women who have been the "roots" of Women Writing for (a) Change (Founder Mary Pierce Brosmer and past Executive Director in Cincinnati Diane Debevec), as well as the "branches": affiliate owner Stephanie Wilson in Oregon and Jacksonville founder, Jennifer Wolfe, as well as our Jacksonville student writers: Kaysyn Jones, Su Ertekin Taner, and Dahlia Kirov, and many more.
During this Zoom meeting, we will build community connections across the country by lifting the voices of these diverse women, and giving everyone a chance to read and share their work—or connect with the artists and writers the book contains.
It will be a lively, engaging session with time for reading, writing, Q&A, and connecting. Join us for this program meant to be accessible to all!
Register to receive the Zoom link via email. This event will also be a fundraiser for anyone who wants to support our work.
