Description

To support continued skill development, portfolio project enhancements, and networking for the greater Seattle development community, we host a weekly Programming Night at Code Fellows in collaboration with Seattle JS Hacker & She's Coding. Through this initiative, we provide tech talks every other week and have mentors on hand weekly to provide job search advice or offer technical guidance on projects.

Mentors

Claudius Mbemba, CTO, Neu Inc. (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mbembac)

1) Bio: Claudius is currently CTO of Neu Inc, a marketplace providing automated hotel-grade turnovers for Airbnb/vacation rentals. He has been developing and testing enterprise software for several years. As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) inside several teams at Microsoft, including the Commercial Software Engineering and Emerging Devices Teams, he largely focused his time on Mobile, Cloud, ML/AI, Bots, & Blockchain.

2) Areas of Interest (Personal & Professional): Sports, Finance, Business creation, Learning & Leadership, Self development.

3) Areas of Tech speciality (what areas can you comfortably advise on?): Architecture, Microservices, Mobile, Bots, Voice, ML/AI

4) Goals for Participating: To give back and help in the community.

Milad Naseri, Software Engineer, Google (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mmnaseri/)

1) Bio: Milad Naseri; I am from Tehran, Iran. I have been a software engineer for the past 10 years of my life, albeit in different roles. I have had experience spanning from being a junior developer to a senior engineer, in the fields of banking, automotive retail, and now ads. I studied software engineering at Sharif University in Iran, and moved to the US for work after a few years of working in the industry.

2) Interests: I am very excited about functional programming, and love to read as many books as possible, and also dream of being a pianist at some point.

3) Areas of specialty: I have had tons of experience in framework and API design, design patterns, algorithmic problem solving, and system design.

4) Goals for participating: see what it is like nowadays to be a at the starting line, and learn a few things while helping others in my field achieve their career goals.
