The Bandicoot Superhighway Project is a community-led project that aims to save this species from extinction by creating a "highway" of interconnected habitat throughout the Mount Lofty Ranges.
We need your help!!!
Join our community planting days as we revegetate areas in Mark Oliphant Conservation Park that are critical for the Bandicoots as well as other threatened species such as the Yellow-footed Antechinus and Bassian Thrush.
The event will cater for all age groups and fitness levels. Morning tea and lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Meeting point - Mark Oliphant Conservation Park, Scott Creek Road, Heathfield SA. The Site is adjacent to new carpark and picnic area in the park. A detailed map will be emailed closer to the event.
This project is funded by the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife through the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board and the Federal Government’s Environment and Restoration Fund through the Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group.
