Community Planning Academy: Greening Communities - Implementing Sustainability Practices
Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
Over the past few years, local governments across the country have searched for ways to “green” their organizations – from internal operations to recycling programs and alternative energy production. This workshop will highlight local governments in the region and how they have implemented effective green policies. Participants will come away with a better understanding of how these programs were initiated and are managed day to day.
* All tickets include breakfast, lunch and all workshop materials.
