Description

Join us for a FREE Community Overdose Prevention Training at the Putnam District Library from 6:00-7:30 pm on August 8th, 2019. During this class, participants will leave with:

  • Information on the opioid crisis

  • An understanding of addiction

  • Information on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their connection to substance use disorders

  • The ability to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose

  • The skills to respond to an opioid overdose with naloxone (also known as Narcan)

Participants that are 18 years and older will have the opportunity to take home a free Narcan kit. Registration prior to the event is required. Space is limited, register today!
