Community of Practice: Seasons of the Educator

This virtual space will cultivate a sense of belonging and community amongst all educators in Lambton County. It will respond to pedagogical thinking, reflection and documentation in the early years. Linking threads of ideas from one season of the educator to the next. The Community of Practice will provide a context for educators to connect with one another. It is a place to reflect, problem solve, discuss, create, dream and share ideas. To develop pedagogical tools, focus on best practices, gain new knowledge and advance a domain of professional practice. A Community of Practice will create a critical space to engage in topics that are meaningful and important; such as diversity, equity, and inclusion. Educators are able to engage online, through self-paced modules, enabling individuals to participate when it is most convenient.

Educators will engage in weekly provocations and will be required to adhere to community standards and maintain on-going engagement.
