Let's discover how organizations and families can better connect over the future of our island and its citizens. Let's be intentional & have fun. 

If you've never experienced Design Thinking, you must come! This free workshop, sponsored by Sea Rose Montessori Co-op School, would otherwise be cost-prohibitive for most nonprofits and individuals (Harvard's costs $2,700).
 
Plus, you'll get to catch up with friends and make new connections.
 
Led by Design Thinking expert Allison de Horsey, you'll be enlightened and empowered to better engage very vested residents and community leaders.

Meet our Design Thinking Expert Facilitator Allison de Horsey!

Design Thinking Expert Allison Ingalsbe de HorseyAllison holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an ALM from Harvard University. She has been with St. George's School since 1994, where she has taught all levels of French and creates experiential programs for students. In 2010 she pioneered the Global Cultural Initiatives Program (GCIP), cultural-immersion international internship in Paris, Madrid, and London. 

As the director of Signature Programs, she develops experiential programs that allows students to learn in the real world. She oversees St. George's new initiative, SGx, a student-based, highly collaborative, and innovative program that uses the design-thinking process to solve real-world problems.

Additionally, Allison works with organizations (Martin Luther King Center, City of Newport, Curie Institute, Paris, France) and schools (Brown, Salve Regina, University of Rhode Island, Millbrook School) to create and facilitate design-thinking workshops, as well as to train teachers and students in the design-thinking process.
