Modoc National Forest and Modoc County to host Public Meeting regarding Implementation of Devil’s Garden Wild Horse Territory Management Plan

The United States Forest Service (USFS) and Modoc County are inviting interested members of the public to a community meeting to discuss implementation of the Devil’s Garden Wild Horse Territory Management Plan, which is available on the USFS website at: http://a123.g.akamai.net/7/123/11558/abc123/forestservic.download.akamai.com/11558/www/nepa/68506_FSPLT3_1452090.pdf and is also available at: http://1.usa.gov/1PxhnVA. The purpose of the meeting is to describe the Plan implementation actions that have occurred to date. Additionally, the agencies would like to solicit ideas from the public regarding potential barriers to implementation of the Plan and ideas to overcome those barriers.


What: Modoc National Forest and Modoc County solicit public input regarding implementation of the Devil’s Garden Wild Horse Territory Management Plan (2013)

When: January 12, 2017, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lunch RSVP: Project co-sponsors have offered to provide a free brown bag lunch for those who RSVP. A RSVP is not necessary for attendance at the meeting. All are welcome.
