Join us for an evening of mindful cooking and eating!

About this Event

Gathering in community with food is a big part of the holiday season that we'll be missing this year. So, how can we recreate these experiences at home?

We've created an interactive workshop in partnership with Luv Collective that blends nourishing cooking with mindful eating to offer an experience that is both festive and intentional.

Nutritionist Chelsea Fechtner will lead us through a Sheet-Pan Delicata Squash & Chickpea dinner and a healthy cocktail or mocktail. Mindfulness expert Sharon Suh will share practical mindful eating strategies from her Mindful Eating Method as we cook and guide us through an exercise once we're ready to eat. The meal is vegan and gluten-free and you'll receive an ingredient list ahead of time so that you can cook along with us!

The workshop will be recorded and sent as a replay if you can't join us live, or you want to reference this cooking experience again and again.

About Your Guides:

Sharon Suh is the founder of the Mindful Eating Method, as well as a Professor of Buddhist Studies in the department of Theology and Religious Studies at Seattle University. She also teaches yoga, barre, and has presented workshops on a variety of topics such as mindful movement, meditation, body image, body acceptance, and mindful eating practices.

Chelsea Fechtner is a nutritionist and personal chef who is on a mission to help the nurturers of the world learn to prioritize their own nourishment, one cozy home-cooked meal at a time! She's passionate about helping others tune out the noise of dieting and instead, rediscover how to nourish their body well and find joy in food.
