Description
The purpose of the 2016 Community Impact Forum is to increase the effectiveness of small to medium size social service agencies in order to generate a larger impact on West Cook communities. The Symposium will consist of a Keynote Speech by a high ranking Elected Official to discuss Government Funding opportunities and several breakout sessions led by industry professionals. The topics for breakout sessions will include:
- Crowd-funding/Grassroots Funding Opportunities
- Marketing/Media/Earned Media/Social Media
- Diversity in the Workforce
- Board Development Strategies/Strategic Planning
- Current State of Nonprofit Funding
We are recognizing social service thought leaders from the philanthropic community. We have invited corporate foundations and private foundations to share information about their funding opportunities. Organizations will have an opportunity to meet decision makers and share their mission and vision for future collaborations.
