About this Event

This motorcycle raffle and fundraiser is conducted by Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. and is made possible by our presenting sponsor Adventure Harley-Davidson. All proceeds from the entries will benefit Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc.

1. Eligibility: You must be 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to enter. Paid employees of Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. and Adventure Harley-Davidson are not eligible to participate.

2. Fundraiser donations: The cost of a raffle ticket is (1) ticket for $20. All sales are final. No refunds will be made. Cash, Checks and Credit Cards accepted.

2.1 There is no maximum number of tickets a person may purchase. Only official raffle ticket entries will be accepted. Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. will print and sell a minimum of 1500 tickets and a maximum of 2500 tickets. Odds of winning are determined only by the total number of entries sold. Entries may be made via the Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. website at www.myhospice.org or purchased from a representative of Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc., whether it be a volunteer or employee. Tickets may also be purchased in person at Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. or at certain events at which Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. is present. Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or non delivered entries. Any entries described previously, will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified.

3. Entry Schedule: The Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. 2020 raffle will commence on March 9th , 2020 and end on July 11, 2020 or when the maximum number of tickets has been sold. All electronic entries on the Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. website must be received by 12:00pm on Friday July 10, 2020. All entries after that, will be considered a donation to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc.. All raffle results winning decisions are final.

4. Receipt of Prize: The winner does not need to be present to win but will need to present a valid driver’s license or state issued photo ID when claiming the prize. The winner agrees to arrange removal of the Grand Prize by July 31, 2020. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize which would then be awarded to ticket holder number 2, then number 3.The winner is responsible for transportation and delivery of the Grand Prize motorcycle. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes and fees including state and federal sales or income tax where applicable. In addition, the winner of the bike will have to pay for the Document fees, taxes, title and tag. The taxes will vary based on the county they live in but the document fees are $250, the title is $15 and the registration fee is $20.

5. Grand Prize: The Grand Prize is a 2020 Iron 883. The winner will be contacted by telephone and /or email address written on the ticket as to his or her winnings immediately following the drawing. Retain your ticket stub with ticket number(s) as proof of your purchase of a raffle ticket. In the event of any dispute or controversy, concerning the winner of the drawing, you will be required to produce the original ticket stub. Winners will also be announced via the Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. website and Facebook. Entrants agree that their names and/ or likenesses may be used by both Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. and Adventure Harley-Davidson for news release and for publicity purposes including but not limited to newspapers, radio, web and print. If the person with the winning ticket rejects the prize, Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. reserves the right in it’s discretion to either draw another ticket or sell the motorcycle. Second and Third Prizes are an Adventure Harley-Davidson riding academy for two, each valued at$399.

6. Entry Laws: The Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. Motorcycle Raffle is subject to all applicable laws, state or federal and is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Entrants to this fundraiser are responsible for compliance to all such laws and regulations based on their age, place of residence etc. The winners release Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc., Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. Board of Directors and Adventure Harley-Davidson from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident or death incurred with the use of this prize.

7. Entry Rules: Hospice of Tuscarawas County, Inc. reserves the right to amend and/or revise and interpret the raffle rules as it may see fit. It is expected that by donating money for an entry ticket, entrants will hold to the rules of entering as presented here.
