Kyle & Will Automotive To Host Holiday Blood Drive
Partnering with Community Blood Center of the Carolinas
High Point, North Carolina - 11/24/2016-Newly opened Kyle and Will Automotive, in partnership with Community Blood Center of the Carolinas, has announced the date of its holiday blood drive. Kyle & Will Automotive, a subsidiary of Reidsville Nissan, prides itself as one of the Piedmont's top car dealerships will be collaborating with the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas on this community-driven holiday blood drive. The Blood Drive will take place on Thursday, December 22 at the Kyle and Will Dealership, 2517 S. Main St. High Point, NC from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm and all intending donors must present a current and official photo identity to participate in the program.
According to the company, it is important to note that the holiday periods are conventionally a challenging time for community blood centers across the country because blood donations typically go down due to family vacations and increased travel while usage normally increases as the result of a higher occurrence of accidents.
Puppies for Patients Initiative
In its efforts to encourage donors and to make the blood drive fun and lively the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas has commenced preparations to organize its annual Puppies for Patients program, which connects local blood donors with local pediatric patients during the holidays. The center revealed that local donors who give blood during this holidays blood drive will sign a gift tag to be attached to a stuffed puppy and delivered to children in area hospitals and care facilities.
Carrie Tuck, GM, Kyle & Will Automotive had this to say “We are very sensitive to social and community issues and as a part of our social responsibility, we are partnering with the Community Blood Center on this year’s holiday blood drive. Our employees, their families, and neighboring businesses have volunteered to take part in this humanitarian call to action and we are thankful to the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas for making this program a reality. We will continue to collaborate with them with the aim of helping people get blood and increasing the quality of life.”
