Community Garden Symposium
Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EDT)
Gardening for Good, in partnership with Clemson Extension, Greater Greenville Master Gardeners Association, South Carolina Organization for Organic Living (SCOOL), Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, Greenville Forward, Roper Mountain Science Center and Keep Greenville County Beautiful, present the inaugural Community Garden Symposium.
This full day event is set at the Roper Mountain Science Center from 9-3PM. Registration begins at 8AM.
The format includes a keynote speech by Dr. David Bradshaw, breakout sessions on various garden topics and a panel discussion on keeping members engaged in garden activities. In addition, there will be local garden vendors, door prizes and raffle prizes.
We ask you to please bring your own lunch. If you prefer, there will be food trucks available in the parking lot for lunch options as well. There will also be opportunities for tours of the Roper Mountain Living History Farm during the lunch hour.
