Safeguarding Our Communities, Upholding Our Shared Values

A Community Forum on Immigration & Racial Discrimination

On February 22, 2017, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. will be hosting a community forum in partnership with organizations committed to the elimination of racial discrimination in British Columbia, featuring a keynote address by His Excellency Artur Wilczynski, Canada’s Ambassador to Norway.

This forum stands against the recent incidents of racial discrimination towards newcomers and the alarming trend of racially-charged sentiments in the media, and exposes their impact on newcomers, immigrants and long-time residents. Partners, leaders and communities are invited to participate in the reaffirmation of our shared values and acknowledge the historic contribution of immigrants to the prosperity of B.C.

Forum begins at 1:30pm and reception to follow at 5:30pm.
