Join us for a practical, informative session on navigating Social Security disability benefits—especially as they relate to mental health.

This Presentation Will Cover:

-The basics of SSA disability programs

-Clarifying confusing acronyms: DI, DIB, SSI, DAC, and more

-The SSA’s definition of disability — and what it really means

-What’s required in terms of treatment and documentation, especially for mental health conditions

-Why it's still important to document physical impairments, even if they don’t prevent work

-The application process, current processing times, approval rates, and appeals

-What to expect at an administrative hearing

General questions are welcome during and after the presentation, as time allows.
