Brooklyn Urban Garden Charter School (BUGS) presents

GUIDING GIRLS TO ADULTHOOD WITH LISA DAMOUR

Join us for a riveting evening of fresh insights, advice, and conversation with Lisa Damour, Ph.D., author of the best seller Untangled, the soon to be released Under Pressure (available on Feb 12), and the Adolescence column for The New York Times. Meet our go-to resource for all things raising girls and leave with sound practical evidence to help children from elementary to college realize their full potential.

Bring your spouse, your friends, your doubts, hopes, and questions. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks (cash bar) will be served up with heaps of wisdom. Adults only, please.

The event takes place at ShapeShifter Lab,18 Whitwell Place, Brooklyn, NY 11215 (a few blocks from the Union Street R train subway stop in Park Slope).

About Lisa Damour

Lisa Damour is a psychologist and the author of the award-winning New York Times best seller Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions Into Adulthood (Ballantine, 2016) and the forthcoming Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls. Lisa writes the monthly Adolescence column for The New York Times and is a regular contributor to CBS News. She also directs the Laurel School's Center for Research on Girls. Lisa graduated with honors from Yale University, worked for the Yale Child Study Center, then received her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Michigan.
