Join a FREE presentation by Dr. Kristen Jones-Bonfiglio and Ms. Lisa Bishop, lead researchers for the Mothers' Voices Thunder Bay Project, in collaboration with the Thunder Bay Drug Strategy, Maternal Substance Use and Child Working Group.

Who should attend?

Service providers; clinicians; individuals involved in systems-level governanace, policy, and planning persons with lived experience and self identified family members; and peer support workers.

Care providers and organizations working with mothers who are substance involved and their families: This webinar will guide your decisions about what services to offer and how to provide services to mothers who are substance involved and their children.

Policymakers: This webinar will provide valuable information on how you can enhance service access and delivery, and will provide insights into the educational and professional development needs of health and social service professional students and providers.

About the presenters:

Dr. Kristen Jones-Bonofiglio is Director at the Centre for Health Care Ethics and Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Ms. Lisa Bishop is Principle Investigator for the Mothers' Voices Thunder Bay Project. She is Associate Staff at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and an Anishinabe Registered Midwife at Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, where she provides specialized care to highly marginalized and/or substance involved women and families.
