About The Class

A key to saving lives in the event of a major disaster is organizing available people and resources to do the greatest good at the lowest risk. This class will show you how.

Taught by two expert instructors from the City Of Berkeley, this CERT Org class will be customized for the Halcyon neighborhood, with a good part of class time dedicated to working in small groups with Halcyon neighborhood maps responding to scenarios specific to Halcyon geography and environment.

We can promise that this class will be fun, eye-opening, stimulating and very useful, both in case of an actual disaster and for Halcyon CERT's upcoming January earthquake drill.

  • If you already registered for this class by email there is no need to get a ticket here, you are good!
  • This class is primarily for the Halcyon community. If you do not live or work in the Halcyon (the area in Berkeley bounded by Ashby Ave. and Woolsey Street on the north and south, and Adeline Ave. and Telegraph Ave. on the east and west) but are interested please do not register here. Drop an email HNACERT@gmail.com and we'll try and get you in.
