Event description
AABE Atlanta invites you to a Community Educational Forum in celebration of Black Energy Awareness Month (BEAM).

About this Event

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) has coined October as BEAM (Black Energy Awareness Month) at the national level. Each year, in communities around the country, our national chapters celebrate the great contributions of minorities, students and professionals and discuss the important role energy plays in our daily lives.

In observance of BEAM, the Atlanta Chapter of AABE is hosting a community educational forum in partnership with Georgia Power and other community entities in an effort to educate the community and bring awareness to expected business changes.

Expect to learn about Georgia Power and Southern Company Gas:

  • Infrastructure Investments
  • Energy Assistance Programs
  • Energy Efficiency Programs
  • Rebates and Incentives
  • Smart Home Products
  • Job Opportunities
  • and More

Free parking and boxed lunches provided to the first 100 registrants!
