Event Details

Together, we can use community dining as a vehicle to mindfully volunteer our time.  Whether we express ourselves through regular social gatherings focusing on how we can optimally eat (i.e. veganism, paleo diet/lifestyle), the connection between food and medicine, deeper questions about life and spirituality (i.e. the relationship between nutrition and the yoga texts, the ethical treatment of animals, how we can feed the world, etc...) important community issues and how to solve social problems (a debate on a particular issue, a panel of experts on a certain topic, or Jeffersonian Dinners could really interesting!), or simply how we can better connect with each other in our own neighborhoods, these gatherings make it possible to more actively engage in the world around us.

So please join us for the first Community Dining brainstorming session to discuss how we can utilize shared, sustainably-sourced community meals to volunteer our time in a meaningful way, develop a plan to implement our ideas, and monitor our progress.

We are a diverse community aiming to vote with our forks and promote sustainable farming, conscious food choices, stronger social bonds, and meaningful conversations.  Each event we bring people together for meals sourced from sustainable farms and discuss topics surrounding our food system and other community issues in order to create worthwhile experiences.

About Gather:

Check out the menu here with dishes prepared by Chef Ken Carter and his culinary team.

By blending the best of European wine culture with the ease of American style, we have created a natural setting where friends and family come to gather and share warm hospitality, delicious food, superb wine, and good company.

While we are delighted to accommodate your reservation requests, we also keep 50% of our seating open for the spontaneous walk-in gatherings we love to host. We encourage all of our friends and neighbors to drop in as we have plentiful seating between our warm tasting room, kitchen counter, and gathering tables.

Farmer's Series (May through September):

Bringing you closer to the people and places behind the food you eat.  We believe that everyone benefits by knowing more about the source of their food and its journey from seed to harvest to table.

Our annual Farmer’s Series is an attempt to promote the products and effort of locals farms and ranchers by raising awareness of the long-standing connection between family farms and their historic stewardship of natural resources.

During this season long celebration of all things local, sustainable and delicious, Chef Ken Carter and his culinary team will be preparing a singular daily feature inspired from the best seasonal ingredients received from the farm that day.

And once a month, we will be offering a one night only à la carte menu inspired and created solely by the freshest ingredients of the featured farm.
