Event description

Description

The University of San Diego School of Law & Community Defenders, Inc. presents:

Practical Perspectives from Defense Warriors: Resisting, Defending, and Surviving

Without a doubt, the current political and social environment affects, and will continue to affect, both state and federal criminal defense practitioners. Our advocacy skills will be tested as never before, and we will meet the challenge.

This seminar presents practical approaches to several vital areas of our practice. Addressing the interests of both state and federal practitioners, speakers will focus on how to suppress evidence, stop prosecutorial misconduct, and protect noncitizens from adverse immigration consequences.
