What does home mean to you? Join us for a day honoring artist Aminah Robinson and reflecting on her life and art that often revolved around the theme of home. Try making your own hogmawg, a clay-like mixture she made to create her sculptures, or enjoy a story reading of one of her books. Bask in the harmonies of vocalist Lynda Starr & her band during a live jam session while journeying back to your youth with an option to partake in a Double Dutch performance. It’s a day to celebrate community, artistic expression, and our newest special exhibition, Aminah Robinson: Journeys Home, A Visual Memoir.
