Are Americans more divided and polarized than ever before in the history of our Nation?

About this Event

The League of Women Voters of Broward County will give a presentation covering the history of voting in the U.S., the important role of enfranchisement in our democracy, how voters can educate themselves on issues, and the history and role of the League of Women Voters. The presentation will be followed by discussion and a question and answer session. Voter registration forms will be available to fill out and turn in to the Main Library Second Floor Service Desk.

The League of Women Voters encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
