About this event

We are hosting a community conversation on people’s experiences during our first Advancing Black Maternal Self-Care & Wellness Series. We covered topics such as breath work, creative grief expressions, perinatal mental health, trauma informed self-care, emotional intelligence and stress awareness.

We hope Black birthing women, fathers, partners, families, community advocates, doulas, and healthcare providers will join us to discuss what we learned in 2025 and provide your voice to envisioning 2026.

Free food, childcare, and parking are provided!

Be one of the first 20 Black birthing women, or families, to register and attend, and receive a free copy of the book "Self-Love," a bookmark, and a Mental Health Matters tote bag.  The author, Robin Kay Beohourou, MS, LMFT, will be present for book signing.
