More About the Event:

This will be a casual networking event with a series of brief presentations followed by an opportunity to ask questions. PEC's will speak to the value of riparian buffers during a presentation on our Headwaters Stream Initiative and describe our experience at Roundabout Meadows enhancing water quality while maintaining a viable cattle farm. John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District and Goose Creek Association will both speak to ways that residents can protect water resources in their community. And the Virginia Conservation Network will connect the dots on complicated changes to the federal Clean Water Act and Farm Bill so that we can be a more informed advocates for our water resources.
