Vancouver, WA. – On Friday, October 18, 2019, Southwest Washington Community Health Advocate and Peer Support Network (SW CHAPS) proudly presents the first ever Community-Based Workforce Expo!
WHAT: Local agencies and community-based workers are invited come to learn about careers, education and training opportunities. Plus, connect with pre-employment support, workforce advocacy and more. Lunch is provided!
WHO: All community-based workers and their agencies are invited to unite and ignite the power within the diverse workforce of:
• Community Health Workers
• Certified Peer Counselors
• Community Health advocates
• Peer Navigators
• Recovery Coaches
• Community Connectors
The event is sponsored by Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health (SWACH) and Molina Healthcare of Washington.

About SW CHAPS: SW CHAPS is a growing grassroots network of community-based community health advocates and certified peers, serving the communities across the Southwest WA region, who come together to learn, support one another, and share ideas and best practices. SW CHAPS also facilitates input from the network to affect positive outcomes in the larger system of care.
