Description

Join us for our first annual Community Awards & Recognition Dinner to celebrate Netcare Access' supporters and advocates that have helped to make an impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.

We will be recognizing Shawn Holt and Andrew Moss of Maryhaven, LT Dennis Jeffrey, Commander Chris Bowling and Chief Kimberley Jacobs of the Columbus Police Department, as well as Dr. Natalie Lester of Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for their support of Netcare Access.

Live entertainment provided by duo Honey and Blue

The silent auction features unique experiences such as a private pizza party for 6 people with Mikey Sorboro of Mikey's Late Night Slice, tour and tasting packages to Willamette Valley Winery and Ankeny Vineyary in Oregon with overnight accommodations and tickets to a performance of Disney's Aladdin at the Ohio Theater.

Delicious Italian food served by La Scala Italian Bistro with a cash bar.

All proceeds benefit the Netcare Foundation. The Netcare Foundation provides the only source of discretionary funds for Netcare Access. Netcare Foundation funds have been needed recently for the purchase of ROW One vans, facility safety repairs and an employee scholarship grant.

ABOUT US

Netcare Access provides 24/7 mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention, stabilization and assessment for Franklin County residents, 365 days a year. Anyone can call 614-276-CARE or come to our location if they are in a mental health or substance abuse crisis, or if they’re concerned about a family member or friend.

Aside from the important work in helping with emergency crisis, Netcare does so much more to support Franklin County residents – including assessment services for adults and older adults, court-ordered forensic evaluations, probate pre-screenings and family psychological services. Referrals, if necessary, are made to local agencies and hospitals for therapeutic or inpatient treatment.

Netcare partners with local law enforcement to provide on-the-scene response to trauma victims in the area through its Community Crisis Response team and de-escalating mental health emergency calls through the Mobile Crisis Uni in partnership with the Columbus Police Department. Netcare also has a mobile intervention service, ROW One, which helps transport intoxicated persons off the street and to a place of safety.

Netcare also works to stabilize those who will be returning to their home environment after a crisis through our Crisis Stabilization Unit. Netcare helps clients through individual and group therapy, psychiatric nursing care and medication. Miles House is a residential respite for stabilizing adults, where clients can stay up to 16 days to continue easing back into the community.
