African American Museum presents Community African American History Class "Plus"

About this Event

The African American Museum will launch the Fall session of Community African American History Course "Plus". Taught online by historian Dr. W. Marvin Dulaney, this course will cover topics in the African in the African American experience from the Colonial period of American history to contemporary times. A new "plus" feature of this course will be discussions led by Ms. Joy Strickland, former CEO of Mothers Against Teen Violence, on the second Thursday of every month, Entitled "Black History Then and Now," the discussions will focus on contemporary issues that affect African Americans and how history and historical events have shaped the contemporary African American experience.

Registration Fee: $100.00 for members (for all ten sessions)
